Robert Clowes is a senior resource management and business growth specialist with more than 20 years of experience supporting infrastructure, civil, mining and construction businesses across Australia and the UK. As Founder and Managing Director of Infrastructure People, he has built an embedded workforce partnership model that works within client businesses to support workforce strategy, mobilisation, growth and operational delivery.
Rob partners closely with business owners and leadership teams to solve complex workforce and project delivery challenges, improve workforce structures and deliver flexible, scalable workforce solutions aligned to commercial demands. His teams have supported major infrastructure and capital works programs including Copperstring 2032, the HumeLink transmission project, the M12, M7 and M2 motorway upgrades, the Berry Bypass, the John Hunter Hospital redevelopment and major water infrastructure and mining projects across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia. Through Infrastructure People, Rob has built long-standing partnerships with businesses including Tallai, Simmons Civil, Eptec, EI Australia and Waltrex.
Before founding Infrastructure People, Rob held senior leadership roles with Core Talent, where he established and managed national rail and mining desks, and with Protech, alongside directing his own multi-trade contracting business in New South Wales. Known for his commercial mindset, industry network and hands-on approach, Rob delivers executive appointments, rapid workforce mobilisation and long-term resource planning across white and blue-collar environments through flexible, transparent and outcome-focused delivery.
