Russell Jones is a Principal at Infrastructure People, where he has spent the past four years consulting within the mining, resources, and oil and gas sectors across Australia and the UK. He brings more than 17 years of experience in B2B sales, underpinned by eight years of recruitment focused on mining, resources and energy, and works closely with clients to understand the business context behind each hire, whether that is managing cost pressures, improving retention or building workforce capacity ahead of a project ramp.
Russell manages contract and permanent recruitment at scale, from a single superintendent to a full site crew, with complete mobilisation support across regions including the Pilbara, the Goldfields, the Bowen Basin, the Hunter Valley, Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill. Through Infrastructure People he supports clients including Titan IND, Tasman Mechanical Solutions, MCC Group, Next Tier Innovation and Baseline Surveys. His partnership with Titan IND supported sustained company growth of 40 per cent, and his work with Tasman Mechanical Solutions helped double turnover from $5 million to $10 million within 12 months.
